The Radisson Blu hotel is on-site at the airport and connected to the terminal by an undercover walkway.
Overnight parking costs £12 per car. On-site parking packages are available to book, though customers may need to leave their key. This is due to the fact that occasionally vehicles will be moved to a secure, off-site compound and then returned to the hotel, ready for the customer to collect when they return from their trip.
No shuttle service is necessary, as the hotel is a mere 2 minute walk away from the terminal.
A variety of themed rooms are available to book, including blue-toned, ocean-like rooms, red & wood schemes in the urban rooms and a 'chilli' room style, with a variety of shapes & colours.
All rooms include tea & coffee making facilities, free high speed wifi, a laptop-size safe, a minibar, a TV and a hairdryer, as standard.
The hotel has two restaurants onsite.
The Collage restaurant serves classic British dishes - such as fish & chips, burgers and steak - using quality ingredients. The average price of a main meal is £15 and the restaurant is open between 6pm - 10:30pm daily.
The Station 169 restaurant is a steakhouse with a show kitchen. Mains average at £27 and it is open between 6pm - 10:30pm.
The Angels Wine Bar is a sight to behold, with a 42 foot tower that holds 4,000 bottles of wine. The bar has an extensive drinks list, as well as a few menu options.
Breakfast is served from 4am in the Collage restaurant and costs £12.95 per person. Kids under 12 eat free with each paying adult. A takeaway breakfast is also available.
Room service is available 24 hours a day.
Well located for the Terminal
"the hotel and room we stayed in were very nice, the staff do not seem very helpful though. receptionist booked us in and didn't offer dinner or breakfast information or explain where the leisure facilities were. when we asked another member of staff on reception she looked at me as though I had asked a stupid question and pointed in the general direction. the member of staff in the gym seemed very confused and it was a difficult task just getting towels. most of the lockers were faulty and the showers were not working they were having work done to them. The pool was also cold so the children couldn't stay in too long. in the evening we sat down for wine and when I asked a member of staff for the wine menu he replied telling me the menus are on the table. now the reason I asked was because we didn't have one on the table so when I showed him he just replied oh that's not my area. so the general attitude of the staff was not helpful or friendly."
