"Unsure of booking in procedure as we were staying at the hotel on our return with the 15 days parking before so arrived at Premier Inn and procedure was explained by friendly lady. We were told to drive to the long stay car park, use free shuttle bus to airport - on return go straight to car park and then check in at hotel using their car park. We were concerned though that whilst we had 15 days parking our flight was due to land at 11:50 pm and by the tine we arrived at the long stay car it would have slipped into the 16th day. We were reassured that it would be OK however if there were any problems on edit to just push the help button. In the event we got back to the car park very late and the machine asked for £300 although we had prepaid - so as told we pressed the help button - a guy answered - asked for car reg and name and simply let us out. So it worked..... However the shuttle bus back to the long stay car park was not as frequent as we were lead to believe by to driver ... On departure we were told the ran 24 hours a day and at 15 minute intervals - we waited for three quarters of an hour for a return shuttle bus in what felt like freezing conditions after having returned from Malta On arrive at Premier Inn we were met by an efficient and attentive chap and given our room. We had asked for a twin - on getting to room it was a double - so we went straight back to reception and he immediately apologised and allocated us a twin room without any fuss. The room was absolutely fine with comfortable beds - facilities met our expectation on returning very late and tired"

Hotel park and fly vs. normal airport parking

Which type of parking deal is going to suit you more? It boils down to personal circumstances. If you are coming from far away or simply don't want to risk traffic on the morning of your flight then book a hotel park and fly package deal and relax in the knowledge that you're already at the airport on the day that you fly. It's more expensive than parking alone but it's the only way to guarantee you'll be checking into your early flight when you need to!
